Design Week Milan 2026

An architectural approach to Salone del Mobile.Milano 2026

As an architect working in high-end residential projects in Buenos Aires, I approach Salone del Mobile.Milano as a space to observe how design translates into real living environments.

This year, I’m particularly interested in three areas:

1. Materials and textures
How brands are working with natural materials, new finishes and tactile qualities that can be applied to residential spaces.

2. Integration between furniture and architecture
I’m looking for solutions where furniture is no longer an object but part of the spatial design — especially in kitchens, storage and integrated systems.

3. Atmosphere and spatial experience
Beyond products, I’m interested in how brands build environments: light, proportions, and the emotional quality of spaces.

During the week, I’ll be visiting both the fair and Fuorisalone, selecting and documenting brands, ideas and details that can be translated into real projects.

My focus is not only on aesthetics, but on how these design decisions impact the way people live.
